We recently learned about a new resource that we want to share with you. SwiftStudent is a free app that makes the financial aid appeal process easier for college-bound students.
So, how does it work? Students can visit SwiftStudent to work through the following process:
- Learn about eligibility
- Use a free template to write an appeal letter
- Print and take the letter to their financial aid office
- Wait for the school to accept or reject their request
SwiftStudent is completely free to students and financial aid offices, with no sign-up required. It does not share or sell student information. Educators can download posters, fliers, and PowerPoint slides to educate their students (and colleagues!) about the financial aid appeal process.
