We have made some significant updates to modules in the Texas OnCourse Academy! The Academy is our premiere college and career planning resource for educators.
The following Academy modules have recently been updated. These updates include new information related to COVID-19, revisions to career clusters, and information about FAFSA related to HB3. We’ve also updated a number of PDF downloads in the modules as well. Be sure to review these changes for any critical information to pass along to your students!

Added content about the revised Texas framework of 14 career clusters that better reflect the state's diverse economic landscape and evolving needs. Added content about the approved CTE programs of study, which go into effect for the 20–21 academic year. Several resources have been adjusted according to the new framework:

Transition Services for Students with Disabilities | Replaced broken links and updated content to align with the Texas Workforce Commission and WINTAC. Added a resource to support practicing self-advocacy as it relates to requesting job accommodations. |
TSIA | Added content about the upcoming launch of the TSIA2. |
College Finances |
Added content to reflect language change by higher education institutions, from "financial aid award letter" to "financial aid offer notice/letter." Adjusted language to reflect language change by US Department of Education, from “Financial Aid Shopping Sheet” to “College Financing Plan.” |
Basic Principles of Postsecondary Pathways | Added COVID-19 content and resources to the module introduction. |

TASFA | Add COVID-19 content regarding financial aid and best practices that can help guide students and families during this time. Updated DACA content to reflect recent memo released by the Department of Homeland Security. Added content and resources related to tax transcripts and tax filing. |

Updated content and resources throughout, including content related to HB3, the financial aid application graduation requirement that will go into effect during the 2021–22 academic school year. Updated and new resources include:
